Who we are Plymouth and District Racial Equality Council is dedicated to working to promote racial equality for all and to challenge racial inequality.

In 1995 the Commission for Racial Equality agreed to fund a development worker, and in 1997 to fund the post of Director. The organisation has now expanded and does a variety of work that covers the four areas of community development, policy development, race related case work and public education and campaigning.
