New Network of Racist Incident Reporting Centres

Victims of racist attacks who fear reporting the crime to the police are to benefit from a new project being launched in Plymouth.  The initiative aims to establish a network of reporting centres based in existing community facilities.  Any incident can be reported in strict confidence. Staff and volunteers in the centres are being given free training by the Monitoring Group Rural Racism Project.

The first phase of the project will see Incident Reporting Centres based at:

PDREC 3rd Floor, Prideaux Court, Palace Street

(tel: 01752 224555)

Refugee Action 4th Floor, Prideaux Court, Palace Street

(tel: 01752 235030)

Refugees First  Floor 1, Anglia House, Derry's Cross

(tel: 01752 242156)

Fata He BME Development  Welcome Hall, 4 Fore Street, Devonport

(tel: 01752 607853)

Plymouth City Council  First Stop Reception, Civic Centre

  • The Monitoring Group's emergency helpline on 0800 374618; or
  • Plymouth City Council's website online reporting form; or
