Racial Harassment


We understand that many people can feel nervous about reporting racist incidents and we accept that many victims are unsure about the advice and support services available in Plymouth.

A racist incident is defined as any incident which is perceived to be racist by the victim or any other person. This includes, for example

  • Physical violence, assaults and attacks;
  • Harassment and bullying;
  • Damage to property and graffiti;
  • Hate mail and telephone calls;
  • Displaying racist materials; and
  • Verbal abuse and threats

We all have a right to live our lives in peace at home, at work, at school and on the streets.

Don’t suffer in silence, report racist incidents.
